2019 AEI Ambassador Announcement

Welcoming Jess our 2019 A.E.I Ambassador!

We are thrilled to announce that Jess will be out and about representing AEI as our ambassador – if you are located in Victoria keep an eye out for jess and her beautiful horse Allegro on the eventing circuit!

A bit about Jess:

WHAT DO YOU COMPETE IN: Eventing.

HORSE: Allegro, 15.3HH, Chestnut Warmblood.

BEST RESULTS: First in the Yarrambat Ponyclub Supercross.

FAVOURITE PLACE TO COMPETE: Wandin Park.

GOALS: To compete 1*.

WHAT YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT HORSES/RIDING: The connection you build with a horse, and the way in which they can be your friend, and detect your emotion.

Keep an eye out for Jess and Allegro’s updates, we look forward to seeing what this great up and coming team will accomplish this year!

We are back from the Christmas break and hope all our students and friends enjoyed the holiday time with their family and of course their ponies! 

We are looking forward to an exciting 2019 to include:

- Students commencing the course over the christmas break and through the year at any time

- Announcing our Brand Ambassador in February

Closed for Christmas Break

The AEI office is closed for the Christmas break from Saturday the 22nd December until Monday the 7th of January 

We wish all our students and their families a Merry Christmas and New Year.

We hope you get lots of time with your Equine friends- and stay safe in the saddle! 

We look forward to supporting our enthusiastic students in the New Year! 

AEI Ambassador search 2019

In 2019, we are offering a lucky rider/s the chance to receive a fantastic sponsorship package. As an AEI Ambassador, you will be given the opportunity to represent the Australian Equine Institute, receive great endorsement and support from us.

Our 2019 AEI Sponsorship includes: 

- AEI brand outfit for you

- AEI brand outfit for your horse!

- A free unit to complete from our Certificate III in Horsemanship Course

- AEI stickers for your car or float 

- Featured Story published on our social media channels

+ Social Media Posts & updates throughout the year.

To apply, you must fit the following criteria:

- Applicants must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen (as this is the criteria to be able to complete our course)

- Be aged 15+ (we are looking for a wide age range of ambassadors!)

- Be riding competitively in their chosen Equestrian field.

What would you be doing as an ambassador?

- Represent AEI out and about at competitions and in your daily riding.

- Upload photos to your social media whilst representing AEI.

- Complete a unit of your choosing from our Certificate III in Horsemanship Course, to enable you to discuss it with anyone interested.

Applications must be submitted by video and must answer the following questions:

- How long has the applicant been riding for?

- What is their chosen equestrian discipline and why?

- Is there any specific goals they are aiming for?

- Why you think you and your horse would be the best AEI Ambassador.

Supplementary evidence of video or photos of applicants performing in their chosen discipline must be included in the application.

Send a video of the above through to us. You can include video of you riding, your horse, yourself talking - be as creative as you like! Ambassadors will be announced on our website and facebook page so make sure you "like" our page.

With the 2018 school year coming to a close we have many students recently handing in their final units and recieving their Certificates.

All the hard work finally paying off.

We would like to wish our 2018 Graduates a huge CONGRATULATIONS and wish them well in their endevours outside in "the real world".

Introducing the newest member of the Australian Equine Institute

Elie grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and has lived and breathed horses since a young age, starting working with horses whilst still in school in exchange for riding lessons at her local stables.

Her and her horse ‘Red” are regulars out at events across NSW you will see her out competing in Eventing, Showjumping and (if she must) Dressage.

Elie will be available during office hours, if you have any questions feel free to give her a call

Congratulations AEI Graduates

 Congratulations !!

AEI would like to congratulate two outstanding and talented students - Lequeisha Charlie and Kapua Sebasio who have successfully completed our Certificate III in Horsemanship in September 2016. Both students were supported by AEI staff and assisted by Pauline Long (I-Learn Co-ordinator) Northern Penninsula Area College.

Lequeisha went on to win the inaugural Cape York Cup aboard Whisky. Way to Go Lequeisha !!

Both students have a bright future ahead.
