The Australian Equine Institute are now offering equine organisations Nationally Accredited professional development seminars for your staff to up skill themselves in a range of topics. This will not only keep them up to date with the most recent information but will also ensure you meet WH&S obligations and legal requirements when operating your business.
The range of accredited training courses include the following:- TIGEPH301A Introduction to the Evolution and Psychology of Equine Behavior TIGEAP301A Introduction to Equine Anatomy and Physiology TIGPEA301A Provide Equine Accommodation TIGENH301A Maintain Basic Equine Nutritional Health TIGGEM301A Carry out the Grooming of Horses and Maintain Grooming Equipment TIGHHC302A Undertake Preventative Equine Health Care TIGHHC301A Contribute to Equine Health Care TIGAWL301A Introduction to Animal Welfare and the Recreational Horse Industry TIGOHS301A Apply Health and Safety Procedures in Equine Recreational Activities TIGEGT301A Equine Groundwork and Transportation TIGPPR301A Perform Preparation for Riding at the Basic Horsemanship Level TIGURG308A Undertaking Riding at the appropriate skill level
These units make up and form part of our Nationally Recognised Certificate III in Horsemanship and can be completed stand alone obtaining a statement of attainment or complete them all and gain a full qualification.
Each month we will be covering a different subject over two days with a fun filled clinic that will cover not only the theory component subject matter but also include a riding component for those who are actively riding as well as working at your establishment.
If the clinics don’t suit your current situation we can have a trainer/assessor come to your property and conduct these short courses over a 1 day format for your staff.
