Smart and Skilled Eligibility:

- Aged 15 years or older? (Some courses may have age restrictions – see course page)
- No longer in school? (or a registered home school student)
- Do you live or work in NSW?
- Are you an Australia Citizen, Permanent resident, NZ citizen, a humanitarian visa or partner visa holder?
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander who does not work or live in NSW, but does live in specific defined interstate NSW border areas?

Application and Enrolment Process

Apply for Smart & Skilled funding by competing the ‘Smart & Skilled Application Form’.
Along with your form you must provide all necessary supporting evidence and a USI (Unique Student Identifier). To locate or create a USI please click here. Contact our team to discuss what type of supporting evidence will be required.
Funding Coordinator will review and process your application.
Once all applicable evidence has been received, an outcome on eligibility and quote will be produced with details of fees or subsidies available and you will be contacted to discuss this. (Please note that evidence has to be sighted by our staff, or certified copies).
You are then able to accept the quote if you would like to proceed with enrolment.

To accept this quote, we will send you a declaration confirming the following:
You have provided information that is true, accurate, complete and not misleading in any way.
an enrolment in the same qualification and/or same units of competency is not being concurrently completed.
You have been advised of the process/policy for Recognition of Prior Learning and/or Credit Transfer for any units relevant to the qualification that have been completed prior to this enrolment.
You have been made aware of any Third Party arrangements (if applicable)
You have been provided with details of the fee chargeable (if applicable) and have access to Student Information (Student Handbook).
